Thank you for thinking about donating to support our work.
Approximately 6,000 disabled children are born every year with a syndrome without a name. SWAN UK is the only specialist support available for these families in the UK. We get no government funding.
Our Big Ambition
Our big ambition is that every family affected by a syndrome without a name has the support they need, when they need it. We have new families making contact every day but we know there are so many more out there who need our support.

How Do We Use Donations?
The money you raise will have a direct impact on the lives of the families we support; it could pay for balloons to be sent to a child in hospital or for a family to attend one of our family day trips, allowing them to enjoy a rare day out to make precious memories in a safe and welcoming environment.
Your money could enable a family to access the right information that means their child gets the support and treatment they require, or help to ensure they are all offered high-quality coordinated care.
£100 will allow us to send out SWAN UK information packs for key services to share with families.
£500 will cover the cost of a party for fifteen families, bringing them together and giving them a chance to meet face to face.
£1,000 will cover the cost of training and supporting a SWAN UK Parent Rep to educate local professionals and services about undiagnosed genetic conditions.
£2,500 will cover the cost of a family fun day for 50 undiagnosed children, their siblings, parents and carers at a specialist centre.
£3,500 will cover the cost of a day trip for 25 families to make precious memories.
£5,000 will cover the cost of an all-day information event about undiagnosed genetic conditions.
