UNDIAGNOSED CHILDREN’S DAY 2020!
Last Reviewed 20/04/2020
This Friday we will are celebrating our annual national awareness day – Undiagnosed Children’s Day.
Always the last Friday of April, this is usually our biggest fundraiser of the year and we are very worried about the impact on our future ability to provide services as we have had to cancel all our planned events. We have had to cancel most of our fundraising activities and plans but there are still some ways you can support us – so dig out your hottest pink outfits and have a read below of how to get involved!
1 – Share our Facebook fundraising appeal – the children and young people supported by SWAN UK are some of the most isolated and medically vulnerable in the UK. They need us more now than ever so please encourage your friends and family to donate and ensure we can continue supporting them.
2 – Help us brighten up the internet by digging out your pink clothes, painting your nails, dyeing your hair or baking a pink cake and help to #paintlockdownpink! Make sure to share your photos with us using the hashtags #paintlockdownpink and #UCD2020.
3 – Host a quiz for your friends and get them to donate to SWAN UK for taking part. Everything you need is in this handy quiz pack.
4 – Take the #SWANin60Seconds challenge! Can you make an origami swan in less than a minute? Video your efforts, share on social media with the hashtag and then nominate six of your friends to either donate or take the challenge. Don’t forget to include a donate button or text to donate details:
You can also text ‘SWANUK’ followed by the donation amount up to a maximum of £20 to 70085 (‘SWANUK5’ would donate £5).
5 – Change your social media banners and profile pictures (downloads below).
