Are you interested in learning about genetic research?
We have eight free spaces for SWAN UK members to join us for a day of talks and practical sessions on genetics at MRC Harwell on 22 March.
You will learn more about genome editing, genetic mutations and the 100,000 Genomes Project. We will cover reasonable travel expenses.
‘It was a really reassuring experience. They were open, honest and it was nothing like I had imagined a research laboratory to be. I’m a visual learner and to be able to take part in practical activities gave me a greater understanding of genetics from a patient point of view.’ SWAN UK member
The event is free but registration is essential. If you would like to reserve a place, please email Genetic Alliance UK’s Communications Officer, Jess:
